Attorneys and non-attorney community members welcome
Attorneys can volunteer in walk-in advice clinics, scheduled appointments, or by taking cases for direct representation. All clients are screened by CCVLP for income eligibility.
Make sure to use the “Attorney Volunteer Application Form” so you can tell us what area of law interests you most.
We know law students have a particular set of skills. Though you can’t exactly practice law yet, we want to help you engage with clients and support practicing attorneys as much as possible. Please use our application specific to law students to tell us what interests you and see what opportunities we have available.
Yes, we welcome non-attorney volunteers too! We have a small staff, but a great reach, and our non-attorney volunteers help run advice clinics, contact clients, and coordinate services.
Please use our “non-attorney” volunteer application form, so we can customize a volunteer experience that matches your skill set and interests. If you don’t see something that fits, just let us know in one of the many places in the application to “tell us more”!
